Hosts Tom Hunter and Robin Sanders created Come Play Bridge as an homage to two great women – Tom’s grandmother, Eleanore and Robin’s mother, Ruby. “Come play bridge!” was the rallying call that so often echoed throughout each household. Fortunately Tom answered the call and learned the game early at his grandmother’s knee. Not so fortunately, Robin ignored the call until recently, but love of the game now binds them in a mission to spread the love.
Tom, both teacher and director, is a former Wall Street numbers guy and an avid game and puzzle aficionado who will bring his unique perspective to his hand analysis and directors’ calls.
Robin, your teacher and social director, is a marketing exec and former educator who has spent her career nurturing her clients and growing their businesses. She is looking forward to using those same skills to build her bridge students’ confidence and prowess. Plus, also thanks to Ruby, she knows how to throw a mean party.
Both hosts are American Contract Bridge League and Learn Bridge In A Day accredited teachers and Tom is an ACBL certified director.
